A Grassroots Organization Working to Transform Northern Uganda

Rooted in Agago and growing from Lira, working toward measurable change across Northern Uganda.

ECI is a community-led organization still building out its programs. As program cycles complete and outcome data is gathered, ECI will publish detailed results here. Below is ECI’s current goal and approach to impact.

ECI’s Long-Term Impact Goal

To improve the quality of life of communities across Northern Uganda through responsible use of natural resources, proper environmental management, and sustainable livelihoods — expanding from Agago and Lira outward under ECI’s countrywide operating permit.

Registration No. 6364, Permit No. 7613 — countrywide operating authority within Uganda.

Agago and Lira in Northern Uganda today, with plans to expand under ECI’s countrywide permit.

How Funds Are Used

Funds from donations, grants, and contributions are used only for ECI’s stated objectives, with proper records kept at all times. ECI’s programs are funded through community contributions, well-wishers, donors, partnerships, and grants.
